Job summary

Akumin is hiring a CT Technologist for a PRN position to support outpatient radiology services across our network. You will ensure patient safety, perform high quality CT studies, and communicate with radiologists and other staff to deliver accurate imaging results.

The role includes potential training for new technologists and patient coordinators, with responsibilities spanning equipment troubleshooting and maintaining imaging workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• ARRT-registered CT technologist; NMTCB acceptable where required by state.
• State license in medical imaging; CPR certification.
• Strong customer service, organization and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and perform high quality CT studies.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers.
• Train new technologists and patient coordinators when needed.
• Troubleshoot the CT scanner and related equipment such as PACS and monitors.
