Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist/CT Technologist to perform imaging procedures, position patients, and optimize CT image quality. The role requires independent work, strong communication, and excellent patient care within a busy radiology department.

Required ARRT certifications (Radiography and CT), accredited Radiologic Technology education, and BLS. The candidate must maintain safety standards and collaborate with physicians and staff in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required on hire.
• BLS or ARC-BLS and BLS-I certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with imaging procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and adjust parameters to optimize image quality.
• Review images and communicate findings to radiologists.
• Demonstrate pre/post procedural care and sterile technique.
