Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an Radiology CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring safety and quality. You will prepare patients, operate CT equipment, document procedures, and collaborate with radiologists to provide accurate results.

The role requires ARRT certifications, BLS, and at least one year in radiology; CT experience is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Requires completed Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Must hold ARRT Radiography and ARRT CT certifications.
• BLS certification required; instructor credential preferred.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies proper clinician orders and gathers patient history.
• Prepares patient and equipment; posits patient for procedures.
• Monitors safety, uses time‑out, and ensures quality images for radiologist review.
• Maintains equipment and adheres to infection control and privacy policies.
