Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiographic examinations, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. The role requires adherence to department procedures, effective communication, and the ability to work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting.

Must have ARRT credentials, accredited Radiologic Technology training, and BLS. CT experience is preferred; flexible shifts and ongoing education support are provided by Wellstar.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology is required.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications are required upon hire.
• BLS or ARC-BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of Radiology experience; CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete patient history.
• Operate imaging equipment and position patients for procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy and comfort during exams.
• Maintain equipment, perform preprocedural checks and QC.
• Assist team and follow department procedures and documentation.
