Wellstar is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform CT and radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while producing high-quality diagnostic images. The role requires strong communication and teamwork with physicians, nurses and other technologists.

The candidate will be responsible for patient preparation, correct positioning, documentation, and equipment QC. A minimum of 1 year in radiology is preferred, with CT experience and ARRT certification highly valued.

Qualifikationen

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT radiography and CT certifications required or as stated by the hospital.
• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience; CT preferred.
• BLS or equivalent life support certification required.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patients for procedures and position them correctly.
• Operate CT and radiography equipment ensuring image quality and patient safety.
• Review images for technical adequacy and communicate results to radiologist.
• Maintain equipment calibration and perform routine QC checks.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
