Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a CT Radiologic Technologist to join our radiology team on a PRN schedule. The role involves preparing patients, performing CT and related imaging procedures, maintaining high image quality, and ensuring patient safety throughout the examination.

Candidates must have an Accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT-R/ARRT-CT certifications, plus BLS. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Accredited Program Radiologic Technology
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required upon hire
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required upon hire; Instructor preferred

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history for each procedure.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Perform radiologic procedures with appropriate technique and image quality.
• Administer contrast media following established safety procedures.
• Review images with radiologist and document findings per protocol.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control and patient privacy standards.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and staff; document procedures accurately
