Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality. The role requires independent judgment, accurate patient positioning and adherence to departmental protocols.

The ideal candidate maintains competency in CT imaging, uses proper shielding, and collaborates with radiologists to provide high-quality diagnostic studies. This is a PRN position with flexible hours across varied shifts within Georgia.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an Accredited Radiologic Technology program and be ARRT certified.
• ARRT-R Radiography and ARRT-CT certification required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; BLS-Instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies proper clinician order for procedure.
• Obtains complete clinical history and assesses contraindicating conditions.
• Reviews CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results.
• Responds to emergencies and maintains life support equipment.
• Assists other technologists in all modalities.
