Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Critical Care Tech II (PRN II) in Camden, NJ. You will assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision, perform phlebotomy, vital signs, EKGs, and Foley care, and document findings. This role supports the healthcare team, patients, and families with a focus on safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience required.
• Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training.
• Active Patient Care Technician Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, mobility, transport) and follow standard precautions.
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs and Foley catheter care; document appropriately.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to the RN and respond appropriately.
• Reinforce education for patients and families regarding care needs and safety.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and assist in orienting new hires.
• Complete annual hospital and unit-specific competencies by the due date.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards for a safe environment.
