Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Kentucky is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) PRN to join our therapist-led team. You will contribute to individualized therapy plans and help clients build daily living skills in diverse settings, from nursing facilities to schools and hospitals.

This role supports the Occupational Therapist, documents progress, educates patients and families, and participates in interdisciplinary care to promote independence and meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited OT Assistant program.
• NBCOT certification as a COTA.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy based on treatment plans created by the OT.
• Monitor and document patient progress and maintain records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients/families.
• Lead or assist patients with therapeutic activities to promote independence.
