Maple Health and Rehabilitation in Kentucky is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy program on a PRN basis. You will support individualized treatment plans and help residents regain independence in daily living activities.

Work is performed under a licensed occupational therapist within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. A graduate OTA from an accredited program, an active state license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
• Active state OTA license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic internet navigation.

Aufgaben

• Assist in screening and providing input to initial evaluations as appropriate.
• Implement treatment for assigned patients according to the established plan of care.
• Comply with state and federal guidelines regarding accurate and timely documentation and billing.
• Establish and maintain effective patient-centered interactions with patients and staff.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians during group and individual treatment.
• Participate in utilization review, case management, care conferences, and meetings.
• Maintain awareness of changes in patient conditions and communicate progress promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational, facility, and patient information and act professionally.
