Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN opportunities in Renaissance, Ohio. You will collaborate with an OT team to deliver patient-centered therapy and support daily living activities.

In this role, you will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, document outcomes, and educate patients and families while maintaining compassionate, compliant care across settings such as nursing facilities, hospitals, and clinics.

Qualifications

• Experience in an occupational therapy setting is preferred, but new graduates may apply.
• Active NBCOT certification and valid state licensure required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering individualized therapy based on treatment plans, including activities to improve daily living skills.
• Track and document patient progress, maintaining accurate records per facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and educate patients and families on exercises and adaptive equipment.
• Lead or assist patients with exercises and activities of daily living in a supportive environment.
