Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Lexington, KY is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN opportunity at The Lafayette. You will support an OT with patient-centered therapy to improve daily living activities.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and educating patients and families on exercises and adaptive equipment. Prior OTA experience is preferred; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Certification: NBCOT certification as a COTA.
• Licensure: Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a COTA.
• Experience: Prior OTA experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress and maintain compliant records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients and families on exercises and adaptive equipment.
• Lead or assist patients with activities of daily living and therapeutic tasks.
