Kern River Transitional Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team full-time in a skilled nursing environment.

Pay range is $50-$51+ per hour, based on experience. The COTA will work under the supervision of an OT to deliver high-quality, resident-centered therapy services and contribute to care plans and discharge planning.

Formación

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program required.
• Current California Occupational Therapy Assistant license required.
• License must remain active and in good standing.
• CPR certification, if required by licensure or facility policy.

Responsabilidades

• Provide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Follow individualized plans of care to improve residents' independence in daily living.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Communicate progress and changes in condition with the supervising OT.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding treatment and discharge planning.
• Participate in rehabilitation meetings and care conferences.
