Job summary

Norwood Towers Healthcare, LLC seeks a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN post-acute care. You will craft personalized therapy plans and teach adaptive strategies to help residents stay independent and safe, especially through the fall season.

Work with an OT supervisor, support Restorative Aides, and keep families and clinicians informed. You will document in Net Health or PointClickCare and recommend assistive equipment to simplify daily routines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Active state COTA license in good standing (CPR certification, if applicable).
• Proficient with healthcare software, practical problem-solving skills, and a warm, positive communication style.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapy plans and teach adaptive strategies to support resident independence.
• Collaborate regularly with Supervising OT, Restorative Aides, and keep families, docs, and nurses updated on milestones.
• Document resident records accurately and timely in Net Health or PointClickCare.
• Recommend and source adaptive equipment (splints, grab bars, elevated seats) to ease daily tasks.
