Job summary

Ayer Valley Rehab & Nursing in Ayer, MA is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our rehabilitation team. The role offers flexible scheduling while helping residents regain independence and improve daily function.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment programs, assisting with activities of daily living, and documenting progress. Licensing is required, with nursing experience preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts COTA license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of the OT.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and functional mobility.
• Implement individualized treatment programs established by the supervising OT.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate outcomes to the therapy team.
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary staff to support resident goals.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
