Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to evaluate and treat residents at our Forum Parkway facility in Bedford, Texas. You will provide services per physician orders and established plans of care, supporting discharge goals and patient progress.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas COTA license, with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team, preferably with geriatric

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas license for COTA.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Organizational and analytical skills required.
• Ability to function in multi-faceted systems with staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services per physician orders and professional standards.
• Develops overall plan of care with treatment goals and discharge plans.
• Performs skilled treatments according to plan of care.
• Documents patient response and progress within required timeframes.
• Completes billing and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Maintains rehab gym and treatment area with infection prevention in mind.
