Qualifications

• Texas license as COTA is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact with all levels of staff.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services per physician orders and accepted professional practices.
• Develops an overall plan of care with treatment frequency, duration and measurable goals.
• Performs skilled treatments according to the plan of care.
• Documents observations and patient progress within required timeframes.
• Completes all documentation timely and in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Completes billing for skilled services on the date provided and per guidelines.
• Assists with maintaining rehab gym equipment and the treatment area.
