Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Park Manor in The Woodlands, TX. This on-site position provides therapy services to residents and short-term patients under physician orders in a geriatric rehab setting.

The role requires Texas COTA licensure, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Texas license/certification as COTA is required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to function in multi-faceted systems and interact with all staff levels.
• Geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Successful completion of hiring process and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services per physician orders and professional standards.
• Develops and follows an overall plan of care with short/long term goals.
• Performs skilled treatments according to the plan of care.
• Documents observations and patient progress within required timeframes.
• Completes all required documentation timely per regulations.
• Handles billing for provided skilled services on the day of service.
• Maintains rehab gym and treatment area with infection prevention practices.
