The Greens at Erwin is seeking a dependable PRN Cook to join our dietary team in Erwin, TN. This PRN role supports preparing nutritious meals, following menus, and meeting resident dietary needs with compassion and consistency.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, long-term care, food service or restaurant preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus and dietary instructions.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills; fast-paced kitchen capable.
• ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to menus and resident needs.
• Follow recipes, portion control and standards.
• Accommodate special diets and texture modifications as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
• Monitor temperatures and quality during prep and service.
• Assist with inventory, storage, and supply rotation.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure timely service.
• Create a positive dining experience for residents.
