The Greens at Erwin in Erwin, TN is seeking a dependable PRN Cook to join our dietary team. You will prepare nutritious meals, follow menus, and tailor dishes to residents' dietary needs in a caring, home-like environment.

This role offers flexible PRN hours, early shifts 5:00 AM – 5:45 PM, and a supportive team dedicated to resident well-being. If you take pride in cooking and want a rewarding healthcare career, we’d love to hear from you.

Formación

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, long-term care, food service, or a restaurant setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and special dietary instructions.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing quality service.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve nutritious, quality meals according to established menus and resident dietary needs.
• Follow recipes, portion control guidelines, and food preparation standards.
• Accommodate special diets, food preferences, and texture modifications as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
• Monitor food temperatures and quality throughout preparation and service.
• Assist with food inventory, proper storage, and supply rotation.
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff and other departments to ensure timely meal service.
• Help create a positive dining experience for residents.
