Job summary

The Greens at Erwin in Erwin, TN is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN day shift. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in a supportive skilled nursing environment.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs with strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team. PRN availability and 12-hour day shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Current, active Tennessee RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited or approved RN program.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the nursing team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality resident care.
• Ability to work PRN day shifts based on scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans.
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately according to physician orders.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in resident condition, communicating with physicians and appropriate healthcare providers.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and support to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow infection control practices, safety procedures, nursing standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and resident-centered nursing environment.
