Job summary

Onyx Care of Jena seeks a Dietary Cook PRN to prepare and serve meals for residents, delivering high-quality, patient-centered nutrition in a compassionate setting.

You will follow strict sanitation standards, assist with special diets, and collaborate with the Dietary Manager to ensure accurate menu planning and service. Flexible PRN schedule supports compassionate care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality meals to patients in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all sanitation and food safety standards
• Plan and implement special diets and menus as assigned by the Dietary Manager
• Collaborate with the Dietary Manager to ensure accurate menu planning and execution
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff members
• Participate in inventory management and ordering of food and supplies
• Maintain accurate records and reports of food production and service
• Utilize creative and innovative approaches to menu planning and food preparation
