Job summary

Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to provide patient care at our Care Center in Pinellas County, Florida. The CNA delivers quality, patient-centered care under the direction of a licensed nurse, with night shifts 8pm to 8am.

This role requires flexibility to work at various locations and be reassigned based on business needs. A valid Florida CNA license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida CNA license and CPR certification are required.
• One to three years of training/experience preferred, especially in long-term care.
• Flexibility to work at various locations and be reassigned based on business needs.
• Night shift availability (8pm–8am) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Carry out personal care/home maintenance activities per the Plan of Care.
• Recognize and report unusual conditions or patient/family interactions to the nurse.
• Respect patient confidentiality and maintain HIPAA-compliant practices.
• Support the hospice team to deliver Full Life Care for All.

This role requires flexibility to work at various locations and be reassigned based on business needs.
