Job summary

Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health, seeks a caring CNA to provide personal care and ADL assistance for patients in their homes in North Pinellas County. Monday–Friday 8am to 5pm.

Since 1977, we’ve supported families with compassionate end‑of‑life care across Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. The role requires 1–3 months of related experience, Florida CNA certification, and a Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA) or license.
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist patients with self-administered medications as designated in the Plan of Care.
• Report changes to the RN and document to whom reported.
• Collaborate with the RN/Counselor and participate in closure contacts with family.

**Suncoast Hospice**, a member of **Empath Health,** is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to provide personal care and tasks related to the activities of daily living for patients in their homes in North Pinellas County. Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm. Since 1977, Suncoast Hospice has been honored to serve our neighbors across Pinellas and Hillsborough counties with compassionate end-of-life care. As part of Empath Health, we help those living with advanced illness find comfort, dignity, and meaning, while supporting their families and caregivers with guidance and care every step of the way. **What you'll Do*** The provision of hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.* Assisting patients with taking medications that are ordinarily self-administered and have been pre-poured as designated in the Plan of Care.* Hospice Aides must report changes in the patient's medical, nursing, rehabilitative, and social needs to a registered nurse, as the changes relate to the plan of care.
