Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) in Philadelphia seeks a Weekday PRN Social Worker/Case Manager to deliver psychosocial assessments, therapy, and discharge planning on a designated unit in alignment with hospital and NASW standards.

The role requires a Master’s in a Behavioral Healthcare field (MSW preferred) and PA licensure is desirable. Prior psychiatric/behavioral health experience is valued; PRN scheduling offers flexibility within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Healthcare field required; Master’s degree in Social Work preferred.
• PA License preferred
• Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, crisis and behavior management, individual and family therapy theory and practice.
• 1-3 years psychiatric/behavioral health population experience required; 3-5 years preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide individual, group and family therapy.
• Participate in treatment team planning and discharge planning/case management.
• Provide crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and hospital departments.
• Process commitments and coordinate with units across the hospital
