Job summary

Fairmount Behavioral Health System seeks a PRN Social Worker/Case Manager to join our team on a day shift/weekend schedule at our Roxborough campus in Philadelphia. The role focuses on psychosocial assessments, therapy, discharge planning, and crisis intervention within a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Behavioral Health or MSW and experience in psychiatric behavioral health, with PA license preferred. This role offers competitive pay and benefits through UHS subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavioral Healthcare required; MSW preferred.
• PA License preferred.
• Must possess knowledge of case management, discharge planning, age-specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, individual and family therapy theory and practice, and behavioral health/substance use.
• Prior experience working with a psychiatric behavioral health population between 1-3 years required, 3-5 years preferred.

Located on a 27-acre wooded campus, Fairmount Behavioral Health System is a peaceful, therapeutic environment for patients and families. Fairmount is a major regional resource for children, adolescents and adults who have psychiatric and behavioral problems as well as alcohol and drug dependency needs. The spacious campus borders Fairmount Park in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia. With one of the leading alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs in Philadelphia, Fairmount is the provider of choice for individuals requiring specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment. We are currently seeking a day shift/weekend PRN Social Worker/Case Manager to join our team.

The PRN Social Worker/Case Manager provides clinical social work/case management services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System, the NASW and if licensed, the licensing board of Pennsylvania. The PRN Social Worker/Case Manager is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.
