Job summary

Regional One Health's Outpatient Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for PRN coverage. Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will prepare unit doses, fill carts, document orders and assist with IV products and sterile compounding as needed.

Requirements include completion of a Pharmacy Technician program and a TN Pharmacy Technician license, plus national certification (PTCB or NHA).

Qualifications

Must have national certification (PTCB or NHA) and TN Pharmacy Technician license.
Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent education is required.
At least 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare unit dose medications and fill unit dose carts.
Prepare, label and document IV products and sterile products.
Maintain medication records and charges, and assist in inventory control.
Deliver medications to patient care units and respond to requests.
Provide support under supervision of a licensed pharmacist and comply with HIPAA and safety policies.
