Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician PRN for our Outpatient Pharmacy. You will perform technical pharmacy tasks under supervision of a licensed pharmacist and ensure accurate unit-dose dispensing.

This position requires TN Pharmacy Tech License and national certification (PTCB or NHA). Flexibility for PRN days is preferred, with focus on patient safety, proper documentation, and efficient delivery of medications.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent.
• Current TN Pharmacy Tech License in good standing (Required).
• PTCB or NHA national certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical pharmacy services under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Prepares unit dose medications and fills unit dose carts.
• Prepares, labels and documents IV products using aseptic technique.
• Manages medication orders and patient charges in the computer system.
• Provides coverage for night, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed to ensure continuous pharmacy coverage.
