Job summary

Regional One Health is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Outpatient Pharmacy with floating to the Call Center. The role requires national certification (PTCB or NHA) and TN Pharmacy Tech license, and entails preparing unit dose medications, IV admixtures, and packaging a variety of dosage forms under pharmacist supervision.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician program or equivalent education required.
• National certification (PTCB or NHA) and TN Pharmacy Tech License required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Pharmacy Technician required.
• Willingness to work night/weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare unit dose medications and fill unit dose carts.
• Prepare, label, and document IV products using aseptic technique.
• Deliver patient medication orders to units and assist in medication distribution.
• Enter and post charges in the computer system and maintain department records.
• Assist in inventory control and ensure safe, compliant storage of medications.
