Job summary

Good Samaritan is accepting applications for a Nursing Assistant (NA) in Mandan, ND. You will deliver resident-centered nursing care and daily living support under RN supervision, supporting basic health needs and the dining experience for residents.

The role requires CNA certification or enrollment, 18+ years of age, and preference for prior long-term care experience. A drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by enrollment in a training program.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Satisfactorily completes annual continuing education requirements (12 hours/year).
• Drug screen and pre-employment background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist with daily living activities, meals, and basic health care needs.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to charge nurse.
