Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care at Mandan Sunset, a 128-bed facility. You will work under the supervision of an RN, assisting with daily living activities, measuring vital signs, and supporting wellness programs while ensuring infection prevention protocols are followed.

Qualified candidates will have a CNA certification, be at least 16 years old, and possess a willingness to participate in ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with State Board of Nursing or in process of obtaining certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; not required.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual continuing education: minimum 12 hours; competency testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Record vital signs and monitor resident health as per care plan.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and PPE usage; follow care plans.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to charge nurse.
