Job summary

Glenview Health and Rehab in Glasgow, KY is seeking a PRN CNA to provide compassionate resident care in a long-term care setting under the supervision of licensed staff. Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs; assist with lifting, moving, and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nurse management and ask clarifying questions.
• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed by the team.

CNAs are responsible for the following:
