Job summary

Taylor Glen Community is seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team on PRN status. We deliver compassionate care to our residents and uphold our core values. CNAs provide personal hygiene help, assist with medications and mobility, and support daily living activities across day and night shifts, including weekends.

We value reliability, empathy, and teamwork. A CNA program completion and a High School Diploma are required; prior CNA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One-on-one patient care; eager to learn new skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily.
• Compassionate and supportive demeanor.
• Available to work nights and/or weekends.
• Healthcare, hospitality, or in‑home care experience (min 1 year).
• Willing to enforce health and safety standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CNA program completion required.
• Experience as a CNA preferred.
• Hoyer Lift experience

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for residents (showering, bathing, dressing, eating).
• Help with prescribed medications and assist with ambulation.
• Support mobility for doctor appointments and walks.
• Assist with meals and basic physical therapy exercises.
• Complete shopping for clients or accompany them to do so.
• Perform housekeeping duties and report incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Offer daily living activities support as needed.

Do you have a passion for healthcare and want to make a difference in someone’s life? Taylor Glen Community is seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on PRN status. We are looking for someone who will uphold our core values of providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in‑home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

Schedule:

• 12 hour shifts
• Relief Status
• Day shift (7am-7pm) and Night Shift (7pm-7am) available
• Weekend availability
