Job summary

Taylor Glen Community is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a PRN basis, delivering compassionate care in a residents-focused setting. You will assist with daily activities, monitor wellbeing, and support the care plan under supervision, contributing to a supportive home-like environment.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and daily living support.
• Lift up to 50 pounds when assisting residents and transporting supplies.
• Willingness to work night and weekend shifts as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for residents.
• Assist with medications administration and ambulation.
• Support mobility for appointments, walks, and activities.
• Assist with meals and basic therapy exercises.
• Complete light housekeeping and report incidents promptly.
• Respond quickly in emergencies and maintain safety.

Do you have a passion for healthcare and want to make a difference in someone’s life? Taylor Glen Community is seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on PRN status. We are looking for someone who will uphold our core values of providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in‑home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a CNA Program
• Experience as a CNA preferred
• Take pride in providing high quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)

Schedule:

• 12 hour shifts
• Relief Status
• Day shift (7am-7pm) and Night Shift (7pm-7am) available
• Weekend availability
