Job summary

Madisonville Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate care team. You’ll provide medication administration and supportive services to our residents, ensuring accuracy and safety under health provider orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of CMA experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance according to health care provider's orders
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following guidelines
• Report changes in residents' physical condition or behaviors
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations

CMT responsibilities:

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to health care provider's orders

• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines

• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors

• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations

CMT Required skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• One year of CMT experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Previous experience working directly with older adults is preferred

• Must enjoy working with the senior population
