Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health in Nashville, TN is seeking a PRN Behavior Specialist to support CBT-based treatment within our programs. You will assess behavior functions, develop individualized plans, train staff and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

This role requires a Bachelor's Degree, SAC-in-Training credential, CBT experience, and active CPR/NCI training within designated timelines. Flexible coverage aligns with clinic hours and program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field or related area.
• Valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential or state equivalent.
• 12 months CBT experience preferred; clinical care or human services experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups to patients.
• Participate in supervision sessions and communicate patient progress.
• Monitor intervention effectiveness and adjust plans with clinical leader guidance.
• Document mental health services accurately within the medical record.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and support treatment plans.
• Offer training to direct care team on CBT interventions and strategies.
• Provide caregiver training to support CBT plans and positive reinforcement techniques.
• Ensure patient safety and assist with staffing and scheduling changes as needed.
