Job summary

Generations LLC is seeking Caregivers for Wheatland Village to assist residents with ADLs and follow care plans. You will treat residents with dignity and compassion, while supporting the care team under supervision.

PRN/on-call scheduling and weekend/holiday availability are preferred, with on-the-job training and benefits. We offer PTO, medical/dental/vision for full-time staff, 401(k) Employer Match, employee engagement, a safe work environment, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient.

Job description

Caregivers at Wheatland Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

• PRN is scheduled largely in advance by 2-3 weeks; On-call refers to options to pick up shifts on a daily basis
• Weekend and holiday availability are preferred

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
