Job summary

Waneka Park is hiring a PRN Caregiver to positively impact residents daily. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team under the Health & Wellness Director to support comfort, dignity, and well-being while upholding our compassionate care standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, transfers, personal hygiene, responding to call lights, reporting changes, and following infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Current First Aid and CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and dressing
• Support residents with stand-by assist transfers
• Provide quality personal hygiene care to residents
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing supervisor
• Apply infection control principles consistently during all care activities
• Adapt to changing needs and responsibilities as required

About the Role:

As a Caregiver, you’ll have the rewarding opportunity to positively impact our residents each day.
