Job summary

Shriners Children’s Chicago is seeking a PRN Anesthesia Tech to support our pediatric OR teams. The role involves maintaining anesthesia carts, assisting with room turnover, and stocking cabinets to ensure smooth operating room operations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, and may have certification preferred or desired. This is an on-site, per diem position in Chicago, IL.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimally one year related work experience is required.
• Certification highly preferred/desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the OR anesthesia carts and machines.
• Assist with room turnover.
• Maintain, stock and clean anesthesia OR cabinets and workroom.
• Stock medication drawer and check for outdated drugs.
• Stock equipment drawers and dispose/replace trash bags on carts.
• Order supplies and take specimens to lab.
