Job summary

CHOC is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to provide anesthesia support across the medical center, collaborating with anesthesia and surgical teams. This part-time benefitted role supports the Special Delivery Unit with case prep, induction, extubation and room turnover between procedures.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of anesthesia experience, a high school diploma, sterile technique knowledge, and the ability to operate various healthcare devices.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of anesthesia experience in a hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and operating health care equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in case preparation, induction, extubation and case turnover.
• Provide anesthesia support throughout the medical center with surgical procedures.
• Work as part of the anesthesia and surgical team.
