Job summary

Independence Home Health LLC is seeking compassionate PRN Aides/CNAs to provide in-home care in Columbus, IN. Flexible PRN shifts offer meaningful, patient-centered support in patients’ homes.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health status, document changes, and follow individualized care plans. A caring, independent professional with reliable transportation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) in Indiana is required.
• Experience in home health or similar patient care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Monitor and document patient health status and report changes.
• Assist with meals and nutritional needs.
• Light housekeeping and safe home environment.
• Deliver companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
• Follow care plans and agency protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Monitor and document patient health status and report changes to supervising clinical staff
• Support patients with meal preparation and nutritional needs
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean patient environment
• Deliver compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families
• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to home health agency protocols

Requirements:

• Current CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) credentials in the state of Indiana
• Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or a similar patient care setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a home environment
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a commitment to quality care
• Flexibility to work PRN shifts as needed
