Job summary

Independence Home Health LLC is seeking compassionate Weekend PRN Aides to provide in-home care in the Columbus, IN area. This role focuses on personal care, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, following each patient’s care plan.

Ideal candidates will have HHA or CNA certification, reliable transportation, and excellent communication skills. This position offers flexible weekend shifts and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

Qualifications

• Prior home health aide experience preferred.
• Valid HHA or CNA certification is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in and around Columbus, IN.
• Availability to work weekend shifts on a PRN (as-needed) basis.
• Strong communication and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Ability to follow care plans and document care.
• Must pass background check and meet state home health aide requirements.

Independence Home Health LLC is looking for compassionate and dependable Weekend PRN Aides to join our team in Columbus IN! Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support


• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed


• Monitor and document patient health status and report changes to supervising staff


• Support clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties


• Administer medication reminders and assist with daily living activities (ADLs)


• Build trusting, respectful relationships with patients and their families


• Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or similar role preferred


• Valid HHA or CNA certification is a plus


• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in and around Nineveh, IN


• Availability to work weekend shifts on a PRN (as-needed) basis


• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach


• Ability to work independently while adhering to care plan guidelines


• Must pass a background check and meet state home health aide requirements
