Qualifications

• Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Illinois; willing to obtain Indiana licensure.
• Current CPR-BLS certification.
• Ideal candidate has 3+ years APP experience.
• Patient-centered, compassionate approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including medical histories and physical exams.
• Evaluate health status prior to surgery across cardiovascular, respiratory and neurological systems.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing including lab work, EKGs, and imaging.
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia and procedural expectations.
