Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in social or behavioral science required; licensure required.
• If not licensed, must apply for ALC, LPC, LMSW, LICSW, or LMFT licensure within 90 days.
• Minimum of two years' experience in addictions treatment.
• Experience with a special population (adult or adolescent).
• CPR certification required.

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments.
• Create clinical summaries from assessments and databases.
• Develop treatment plans with goals and interventions.
• Document treatment progress in progress notes.
• Coordinate care with patients, clinical team, payers, and referrals.
• Prepare discharge summaries summarizing findings and progress.
• Integrate 12-Step principles into therapy.
• Manage caseload and documentation requirements.
• Conduct individual counseling for addiction treatment.
• Lead group therapy for addiction treatment.
• Lead specialty groups relevant to addiction treatment.
• Conduct conjoint family counseling addressing codependency and family dynamics.
• Deliver basic addiction education lectures.
