Job summary

Bradford Health Services is seeking PRN Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team at our Texas facility. The role supports patient care, safety, and program adherence, working under supervision to assist with daily activities, transportation, and documentation.

Qualified candidates will have a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Candidates in recovery must have two years of abstinence.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate an understanding of chemical dependency recovery principles.
• CPR certification required.
• Able to walk within the facility and grounds for about 1 mile per 8-hour shift.
• Able to continuously sit for about 3 hours per 8-hour shift.
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing safely in a behavioral health setting.
• Two years of continuous abstinence if in recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in luggage and body searches.
• Monitor and facilitate Book Studies and Recovery meetings.
• Maintain awareness of patient locations and document hourly checks.
• Ensure patients follow Bradford Program Schedule and arrive on time.
• Supervise patient activities and support staff as directed.
• Escort patients to rooms at designated times and assist in evening routines.
• Oversee med line to prevent diversion and de-escalate situations.
• Assist patients to and from activities, medications, and meals when needed.
• Support counselor with assigned tasks and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures and maintain professional demeanor.
