Job summary

The role includes psychosocial assessments, formulation of treatment plans, and delivery of individual and group therapy within a structured, empathetic setting.

The candidate will document progress, coordinate with the clinical team and payers, and integrate 12-Step principles into the treatment process.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related field required.
• Professional licensure is required or must apply for ALC, LPC, LMSW, LICSW, or LMFT within 90 days of hire.
• Experience providing psychotherapy and mental health counseling.
• Strong knowledge of crisis intervention and behavioral health management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse client populations.
• If recovering, three years of continuous verifiable sobriety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive Psychosocial Assessment.
• Evaluate and integrate assessment findings into a clinical summary.
• Transform treatment focus into treatment plans with goals and interventions.
• Document patient’s clinical course of treatment in progress notes.
• Coordinate patient work on objectives with clinical team and payers.
• Formulate and document discharge summaries.
• Integrate 12-Step Programs and Principles into treatment plans.
• Manage caseload and documentation responsibly.
• Conduct individual counseling sessions for addiction treatment.
• Lead group therapy sessions for addictive disorders.
• Conduct specialty groups relevant to addiction treatment.
• Provide conjoint family counseling to address systemic dynamics.
• Deliver basic education lectures related to addiction treatment.
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Supervise staff when assigned and document supervision.
