Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a High Net Worth Tax Principal in Irvine, CA to lead private wealth tax services for executives, families and family offices. We help clients manage, preserve and transition wealth through strategic income, estate and gift tax planning, trust work and succession strategies.

You will mentor staff, lead complex engagements, and collaborate with firm leadership to deliver proactive tax planning, maintain high-quality client service, and grow new business opportunities within

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or law required.
• CPA or JD required.
• 10+ years of tax planning and consulting for wealthy individuals and trusts.
• 6+ years of supervisory experience mentoring associates.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational wealthy families, family offices and their private businesses and/or investment entities.
• Manage engagements, staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met.
• Develop client relationships to grow new business and provide strategic tax guidance.
• Mentor and coach staff and participate in firm learning and development programs.
