Qualifications
- MSN required and active NP license.
- Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.
- ANNC Board Certification.
- Ability to travel in Massachusetts.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Strong patient assessment skills.
- Prolonged sitting and computer use; lifting/moving patients.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
- Proactively follow up with patients and assess intervention efficacy.
- Provide education on best practices.
- Round at assigned nursing homes and make psychiatric treatment recommendations.
- Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological options.
