Job summary

New York Community Care is seeking a Director of Community Outreach to build and lead our brand-new private-pay assisted-living community from the ground up, establishing referral relationships from scratch and becoming the face of the community in the market.

You will collaborate with operations and leadership to set occupancy goals, drive monthly tours, and guide pre-opening activities, while delivering compassionate outreach to families and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare sales admissions or community outreach for private-pay clients.
• Proven track record of driving occupancy or census growth.
• Strong leadership, sales instincts, and passion for seniors.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Build referral relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, senior organizations and discharge planners.
• Lead outreach and promotional activities to establish presence in a brand-new market.
• Partner with leadership to occupancy, goals, and monthly tour targets, especially during pre-opening and stabilization.
• Serve as the liaison for families and referral partners.
