Qualifications

• 1–2 years of billing, accounts receivable, or healthcare business office experience preferred.

• Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills for delicate financial conversations.
• Proficiency with billing software and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Billing & account management: Prepare, verify, and issue monthly private-pay statements and invoices for 3 nursing home locations.
• Accounts receivable: Monitor balances, log payments, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain ledger notes.
• Collections & follow-up: Conduct respectful collection efforts while maintaining dignity and customer care.
• High-touch family communication: Serve as main contact for residents and families on invoices and payment plans.
• Resident trust accounts: Assist with trust funds, monthly ledgers, and reconciliations as needed.
• Administrative support: Maintain accurate records, digital files, and cross-facility reporting.
